Head of Finance


Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Head of Finance role will provide excellent financial control, reporting, and cash flow management. Leading a team of finance professionals within the company and its subsidiaries, the purpose of the role is to provide outstanding operational and financial support to the Director of Operations and business unit leads.


Business Partner

  • Support the directors with accurate and timely management accounts, analysis, and commentary
  • Build a rapport with business unit leaders, external consultants, suppliers, and other parties as needed


  • Ensure group processes are adhered to
  • Ensure banking options are fit for purpose for each Client including adequate redundancy and minimization of FX risk
  • Work with external compliance professionals to identify/resolve risks
  • Work with external compliance professionals on group process audits
  • Ensure the business has sufficient cash flow to meet business requirements
  • Review group accounts for accuracy & completeness


  • Effective management of the distributed finance team
  • Continual mentoring and development to create a high quality finance team
  • Identify improvements and how the team can be more effective/efficient
  • Monitor performance on OKRs to ensure these are met at Company level

Local statutory compliance

  • Ensure tax compliance across the group and the various operating jurisdictions (corporation tax, sales tax, withholding tax etc)
  • Statutory compliance with all financial auditing requirmements


  • Ensure rolling 12 month budget is prepared and filed each month
  • Review and feedback on actual-v-budget reports and other key metrics
  • Work with the management team to add value to the business and provide feedback on future plans and potential risks/financial impacts
  • Provide support, where required, to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of departmental goals and requirements
  • Maintain department files and databases as appropriate
  • Some international travel may be required


  • 5+ years experience in a related position
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Experience working under pressure
  • Can deliver results within set deadlines with proven ability in priority setting and planning
  • Proficiency with MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Ability to apply discretion without directive
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and quick to adapt to changes
  • Have a genuine willingness to learn
  • A self-starter who is resourceful and results orientated
